The Fly!

I've never thought of a fly as being pretty, but this one does have some nice blue on it's back. LOL!

It was warm today, but the wind drove me crazy! I would get an insect or flower in focus and the wind would blow. I began to think I had a wind button on my camera I was accidently pushing! :0)

I also got a close up of a moth that I am going to put in my extra album. Moths are not pretty up close!!! :0)

I LOVE that irridescent blue-green colour. In fact, I've always referred to it as "blowfly's eye". LOL!

Well, I'm not fond of flies (they have ruined way too many BBQ's for me) but this one is actually quite a nice looking little fellow. Great capture - especially given the wind factor. Well done.
