My little blue Canon bit the dust today. I took forty shots today and this is the only one that turned out decent. My camera has been showing an error for about a week now and shutting itself off. Today it kept saying the memory card was locked. I could take one or two shots, before it would shut down. I would have to restart it and ffinally had to take the battery out to reset so I could take a couple more shots. I was beside myself! That little camera has been my constant companion since Christmas.
I had a little money saved for a new camera. My mother pitched in a little more and so did my husband Jeff. I did get a new camera today. It's still a point and shoot and it's still a Canon PowerShot, but it is an upgrade. It has a fisheye setting. I'm really excited about trying that out! Now I have a little red Canon. :0)
My mother told me she knew how much doing the 365 means to me and she wanted me to get another camera as soon as possible. I think Jeff was thinking I would really be hard to live with, if I didn't have a camera .LOL! I love my family!!!
Really great shot!! So glad you got a new camera! I was worried the other day that you had a serious problem going on with the old one. Looking forward to seeing your fish-eye shots! I have that fish-eye lens, but I haven't pulled it out since I first got it. Excited to see what you come up with!
Fantastic photo Carolyn - glorious detail. Sorry about your loyal old camera - but glad you got a new best friend. Can't wait to see your newly taken photos.
(: How nice of your family! And congrats on the new camera. This is a gorgeous shot--love all the bright colours and you got a really good close-up of this guy!
Aww poor camera! Fab family though, looking forward to seeing some newer shots with the new one :o) And great pic here, there. I like it's shiny detailed wings :o)
Have fun playing with your new one.. I love the powershots...
