I wasn't expecting to see this beautiful butterfly today! I had been taking pics of grasshoppers and was headed to the house. I caught sight of this Two-tailed Swallowtail on the thistles. I'm pretty sure I said a bad word as I scrambled to get my camera in focus. Needless to say, the first few shots were not in focus! I did get an open wings shot, but the background is too busy. If I had better editing skills, I could probably fix it. I'm going to post it in my other album. :0)
