Am I really posting this? by cjwhite

Am I really posting this?

This is post number 322 in my main 365 album and the first time I've posted a black and white pic. In my quest to go beyond my borders and get out of my comfort zone, I edited this pic with a box camera effect. I LOVE color, so I thought this would hurt more than it did. LOL! Fuzzy is a dark color anyway and so was the tree. I do miss the color in her pretty little nose and eyes. :0)

Thank you for your lovely comments and faves on yesterday's pic!!! :0)
I love black and white.. and this is a great one.... tones are really good.... look at that fuzzy face, just begs for a b/w shot ...!!!

I love this in black and white! I know how hard it is to change to b & w. Most of the time I leave my images color because I LOVE COLOR! But this is a really good shot to turn b&w! Great job and beautiful cat!

Keep exploring B&W. You'll learn to love it.

In high school, because our yearbook had very little color pages, due to expense, I shot mostly in B&W. I look back on those photos and cringe, but it's a learning experience. This is a wonderful shot, for your first B&W post.

I have the same problem with posting B&W. I feel like something is always missing when I turn a photo B&W. I need to get out of my comfort zone too. Seeing what a great job you did is encouraging. SO, I guess my next photo will be black and white!!
