I have a new camera! It's a Canon Rebel T3. I stood in line 2 hours last night at Walmart's Black Friday sale and got a fabulous deal on it. Thanks to Nikki, 10-96@nikkers for including it in a discussion last week! :0)
Yesterday's pic was taken early morning and this one is just before sunset tonight. Lots has gone on during the interim. We had Thanksgiving dinner here with the family. When I was cooking the turkey, my bottom unit in the oven went out. I didn't realize it at first! It took forever to finish cooking, but the family said it tasted good.
I got my camera at at 12:01 this morning and didn't go to bed until 4:30 this morning! I was reading the manuel. LOL! It took me awhile to figure everything out enough to take pics. I have so much to learn, but I had a blast taking pics!!! I will always love my little P&S, but I am so happy to finally have a big girl camera! :0)

Beautiful shot . . love the sun framed by the trees. Great silhouettes. I am so interested in this Sharon. I've had my eye on the T3 . . please tell me how you like it. i.e. Is it hard to "learn" it . . in the beginning I suppose it would be a little daunting. I need to "graduate" too. So keep me updated. I didn't know about the Walmart deal. :(

The books by David Busch are very useful and well written. The Canon manuals are like field guides being very basic and poorly organized.
