Why so blue? by cjwhite

Why so blue?

Another pic of Baby Blue. I didn't have a lot of pic time this morning and she was the most cooperative. :0)

If you are wondering why her name is Baby Blue, when she has such pretty green eyes, it's because she is the spitting image of her mom. Blue M. Both of them did have lovely blue eyes when they were born. Now both have the wonderful green eyes.

She does look solemn in her pics, but she's very playful. Right after this, she climbed to the top of the maple tree. She climbs up farther than any of the other cats. I'm so afraid she'll fall, but she walks around on the branches like she does on the ground.

Thank you so much for your nice comments on yesterday's snow pic!!! It was all gone before nightfall. :0)

The emerald green eyes are characteristics of Egyptian Maws. The are small cats, very intelligent and loyal. Supposedly they can run up to 30 miles per hour as often their hind legs are longer than their front legs with gives them almost cheetah like running ability.

I don't really care too much about breeds but my MeMe resembles the Maus too!

It's a beautiful shot of the cat. I also like the blue and green hues of the lichen covered trees. They make the shot all the more interesting. It looks like a favoured look-out spot for Baby Blue.

I am amazed by the amount of time your cats spend in trees, lol
