The Grand Old Opry in Nashville, Tennessee is the place all country music singers hope to perform. I visited the Opry many years ago and really enjoyed it.
Today, we were at the mall across from the Opry with my youngest daughter and oldest granddaughter. My granddaughter turned 11 yesterday. We treated her to a day at a Dave and Busters. Good food and fun games.
I took this one with my phone. I had my Canon in the truck, but today was Emma's day. I tend to lose time when I have my big camera. :0)
@homeschoolmom We went soon after it reopened. There were just a few stores open. Today, I couldn't tell there had ever been any damage. We window shopped after Dave and Busters. It is a lovely mall. :0)
Somehow I always thought that the Opry was built along the lines of Sydney's opera house!! You hear so much about it and the people who have performed and want to perform there. Very interesting.
This is a place I'd love to visit. We've been to Tennessee and visited Graceland and numerous other places, but we've never been to Nashville. One of these days. Nice shot of the iconic place.
