It stopped raining just in time for me to get pics. We had a storm yesterday and a lot of the hayfield grass was flattened. I couldn't find the Black Swallowtail chrysalis, but I did find the Monarch chrysalis. This Gulf Fritillary caterpillar is in the classic J shape to make a chrysalis. This was another day I wish I had more time.
