We've had a rough start on this early Easter morning. My husband, Jeff, is fine and that is the most important thing! He hit a horse on the way to work. He only got a few miles up the road, when it happened. It was dark and there was no way to avoid the horse in the road. Sadly, the horse didn't make it.
I'm putting this in my second album, as I'm hoping to find a more cheerful pic today for my 365 album.
Good lord thankfully he is okay. that must have been so scary for him. and you when you found out...
At least he had a big truck, looks like a smaller car and he would have been in a more serious predicament.. Take care both of you..
@annamaker Sadly, the horse didn't make it. My husband and I both are animal lovers, so we are heartbroken. We live in a rural area, so cows, horses and especially deer are often hit by cars. Horses are more rare than the others.
glad to hear your hubby is ok...as for the horse, it always breaks your heart when something like this occurs and there is nothing you can do...hope your day gets better.
Oh dear Carolyn - I just read about this in your other album. I hope he is fine. What a trauma for your both. I hope the rest of the Easter holiday is safer and happier for you.
Oh my that's definitely not the best way to start your day. Glad to hear your husband is OK but I bet he was a bit shaken after and as Bill said poor horse.
