I was in the hayfield looking for a rainbow after the rain. I heard a snorting sound and when I turned around, I saw a deer. It was very unexpected and wouldn't you know it, I had my kit lens on my camera.
I'm posting it for the memory. One day I will get a decent deer pic! :0)
It's so beautifully framed and the background would have been perfect for the deer to really stand out - I feel for you! - The only deer shots I've managed have been farmed deer whose escape route is limited by inpressive fences!
