I honestly don't know which black cat this is. We have two feral ones that look identical. If I had gotten close enough to identify the cat, it would have thought I wanted its catch and run away.
The brown object in the grass is a rat! It's not a little mouse, it's a huge rat! I heard scrambling in the bushes near one of the out buildings and one of the black kitties emerged with its prey.
I actually shot a good pic of her right after she caught it. I thought the pic might be offensive to some people, so I'm not posting it.
