The eggs I found yesterday morning looked very different late this afternoon. The tiny insect was still hanging around. A friend identified it as a parasite of Pentatomid eggs.
Really unique looking eggs. I wonder if these 'parasites' and spiders hang around and wait for them to hatch for a quick and easy meal, like that crab spider that I found that was 'guarding' the ladybug eggs.
