I like my flower pics to have just a little bug topping. :0)
If someone had told me a year ago that I would get excited over a Boxelder Bug, I would have thought they were crazy.
Today wasn't the best day. It started off wrong last night. My washing machine decided it liked to run water in and it wouldn't cut off. My hubby had to cut our water off. He couldn't fix it, until getting off work today. That meant I was home all day without water. I decided the best thing for me to do for my sanity was to stay outside with my camera!
Everything is working for now. It's amazing how a nice hot shower can improve a person's mood!
Thank you for your kind comments and faves on yesterday's cardinal pic!!! This project really does help me keep my sanity! :0)
With all the trouble you did have , sorry for you, we have an beautiful pic . Something fine out of it . So great details and clarity. And loving a bug is also a pro
Pretty flower topped with a colorful bug. I get excited about all sorts of things I never paid much attention to before. 365 adds to our knowledge of the world around us. I'm glad you've got things working now.
Great Compositon Carolyn!! Spot on Focus and Color is Great! ..I think these little beetlles are common on this plant i saw some on mine yesterday!!..But you Captured it Perfectly!!
Lovely light, and I wish I could smell those flowers, though I do find that some of them are kind of yucky (ever smell pear tree blossoms? They smell like pee---no lie)
@5unflow3r Thank you, Trina! When I was still teaching, a student brought me some pear tree blossoms. The smell made me physically sick! I kept trying to move them around the room. I finally had to put them outside. I stay away from then now! :0)
Oh no! Sun-storms, I swear. We've had a list of electrical things decide to stop working this week, including our stove :( A new one on the way but, blah. No baking/cooking for the next couple of days, save for the microwave. The detail on this is wonderful--he really stands out against the beautiful flower.
Another great insect shot! I have not only gone nuts over insects and spiders, but also becoming a bird watcher. I heard a hooting thisAM and thought...if I go out to find the owl, I cannot get a pic because it is too dark." but I went anyway. And just stood and smiled and listened. I memorized his call and then found it online...a barred owl. As the sun rose, I went out to find him, but of course...nothing!
