I love the green color of this Eastern Pondhawk dragonfly. If you magnify it, there is a little insect wing in its mouth. I didn't know I was interrupting its snack, until I got it on the computer. If you aren't sqeamish, I'm going to post a close up of her meal in my extra album. :0)
Nice green one! I thought aobut you the past few days...I see no butterflies here now. Well, darting across the highway and roads on my drives, but that isn't going to work for a photo. I wonder what is up? Maybe they will come out more later. This is a great d fly!
