Baby Green Lynx spiders coming out of their egg sac. I wasn't able to get very close for my pic. Honestly, that's fine with me! I'll probably have nightmares tonight! :0)
Green Lynx females lay anywhere from 25-600 eggs. I think this mama was very productive!
This isn't the Green Lynx and egg sac I posted a couple of weeks ago. I checked on it today and they haven't hatched. When they do, I should be able to get a decent pic safely.
Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's butterfly pic! :0)
oh, you are SO much braver than I, Carolyn! I remember babysitting for my two younger brothers many, many long years ago - and we threw a shoe at what turned out to be a very pregnant mama spider, whose babies then swarmed everywhere and sent us all screaming!!
Great one for theme scary. Skin is crawling now. My biology teacher in high school passed around a paper cup full of black widow spider babies!! What a nut!
i love all your insect photos, lots of detail in all of them :D
