When I was leaving my mom's yesterday, I told her I needed to check on my spider. She looked at me with a slightly horrified look and asked me if I was keeping spiders now. I laughed and told her no. I think she was relieved to hear it was in the hay field and not my house. :0)
When I checked on the Green Lynx today, I didn't find spiderlings. She did have a few friends visiting. There was a Checkered Skipper, an Ailanthus Webworm Moth, and a Soldier Beetle. I think the Goldenrod is a little more popular than the hairy spider. :0)
Thank you so much for all your kind comments on my pics and for taking time to give them a look! :0)
Love Mom's reaction - think my daughter can relate. Super shot here, getting them all together - so nicely cooperative of them. That goldenrod makes for some good color.
