This is my first time to see a Brown Creeper! I probably would have missed it, if I hadn't been looking for a Chickadee I was hearing. Their name fits them perfectly! They flatten their bodies and creep up trees looking for insects, seeds, and nuts. Nuthatches start from the top and go down, but Creepers begin at the bottom and go up.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I don't have to share the computer tonight, so I'm hoping to do some more catching up on your pics. :0)
I am learning so much from you about all the different birds you have in your part of the country. Really enjoying it! We don't have any species like these here in southern CA. We have sea gulls, pidgeons, and pelicans! And they are mostly on the coast. We' about 35 minutes inland so don't even see them. We get crows visiting in our yard!!
