Homebody

The House Sparrow gets its name from its preference to nesting near people.

I'm a bit of a homebody myself. That's why the majority of my pics are taken around my property.. I really enjoyed my time outside with my camera today. :0)
Beautiful capture of this sparrow. I admire how neat the focus is.

I love these birds! I never knew why they were named as such. I have a few in my backyard but they sure disappear as soon as I make a move.

Great capture of this house sparrow. Great details and focus. I am a homebody myself. Most of my photos come from my backyard and from within my city.

Love the detail and focus ( must get a better telephoto lens !) I never knew that's how they got their name, thanks for sharing :)

Your detail is fantastic - I had never noticed under their head the different coloring. Beautiful.

Beautifully captured. I notice you often shoot at 300mm. Do you use a prime lens? We have the same camera, and I only have up to a 200mm so I'm wondering what you use to get your gorgeous bird photos.

@jyokota My lens is a Canon 75-300mm zoom lens. :0)

I think they are so neat, and we have so many in our back yard. They keep emptying our four feeders.
