Female Mallard Duck

I went to one of my favorite places for pics today. I wasn't sure if I would see many birds and animals, because it's still so cold. I saw ducks, turtles, song birds, and muskrats. This beautiful Mallard duck was not as shy as her mate. This pic isn't cropped. I hung over the bridge and took pics. I wouldn't have been brave enough to do that before the 365. :0)

Complex textured photos like this appeal to me a lot. There is so much going on but it all works together, especially the browns against the green of the water.

Would love to see a photo of you dangling off the bridge. We should probably all be required to have a secondary photographer with us, to capture the positions we get into for our 365 shots. ;-)
