I was late getting home today. On the drive home, I was I going through photo ops in my head. I knew I wanted to take a pic of my birdhouse. I wanted to take a pic of it in the crabapple tree blossoms. It would be the only way I could get Red in the blossoms. Unfornuately, it started raining about a mile from home, so I had to change my plan.
My husband made this birdhouse for me from a kit. He painted it red and black to match my Rock City birdhouse. I didn't know he was going to put one of my pics on it. He asked me to show him a couple of my favorite pics. He made two prints. Red is on both sides. He covered the pics with a sealer, so they are waterproof.
The extra texture on the roof is raindrops. My hubby got home right after me. He came outside with an umbrella and held it over my head so I could take pics and keep my camera dry. He's definitely a keeper! :0)
