Red and I have a new friend. He's a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I have never seen one, so I was very excited! I read about him in one of my books. From what I read, he's stopping by for a little food on his migration route. There was a female with him, but I didn't realize it until I saw the pic of a female. She was brown and white streaked. I got a pic of her, but it was a little blurry.

Lovely capture. I had a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak in my yard one day last week. I snapped several shots of him. I had never seen one either! I am glad you were able to get this pretty shot of yours.
This is a super shot - I would love to see one of those. What great timing to get the two of them together. There is an awful lot to be said for being in the right place at the right time! And you always know how to take advantage of those times! Wonderful as always.
