I thought the hummingbirds were gone yesterday. I guess they visited the feeders late yesterday afternoon. The feeders were empty this morning.
I saw five at one time today. They were all fighting to get to the feeders. There were two that stayed longer than the others and they fought hard. I have three feeders, but they didn't want to share.
I really worried they were going to hurt each other. You could hear them hitting together and several times they fought all the way to the ground. They got closer to my head than I cared for, too! :0)
