I think we made a wrong turn!

It still surprises me, when I see gulls here in Tennessee. It was especially surprising today, with our cold temps.

We were Christmas shopping and spotted these guys in a mall parking lot. Before the 365, I would never have wandered through a parking lot shooting bird pics, but it doesn't bother me one bit these days. I think my husband is used to it, but I'm not so sure about my Mom. :0)

These are Ringed-bill Gulls and they winter in Tennessee. They show up in September and leave in May.
