I don't know this flower but it looks as if there are going to be a lot of flowers on this stem! I presume they are not berries at this time of the year!
I'm fascinated - the only myrtle I know is our Bog Myrtle, which grows in boggy places, flowers in the early spring but has brown blooms. At least the foliage smells good.

That surprises me that your crepe myrtle are behind ours which are in full bloom right now and have been for several weeks. Love your dof for this shot. It's lovely.
