We had our community Thanksgiving service this evening at our church. Every year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the churches in town meet together for singing, a community choir, a message by one of the pastors, and of course food and fellowship. I made two of these turkey trays with summer sausage and cheeses. In the midst of all the world's problems right now, I am so blessed to be part of a small town that can still come together for worship, thanksgiving, and prayer for our troubled world. Great way to start the Thanksgiving week!
So cute! What a wonderful way to begin this holiday! We just had a group of friends come over after our service tonight and we had a very similar conversation!
You took some time to present this food so nicely! It must have been apprecitated! I agree with you - coming together to pray for the good has to be the best!
