Not the best way to start the day, but thank goodness for friends of friends...
I was sitting at the drive-thru window at Starbucks when I noticed steam coming out from under my hood on the right side. I pulled into a parking space nearby and immediately turned off my car. After the steam went away, I opened the hood and noticed my radiator fluid was gone, but I couldn't see any leaks in the reservoir or hose. I called my best friend's husband who referred me to his mechanic since mine wasn't answering his phone and then I called roadside assistance and had my car towed. Long story short is that my cooling fan module had completely stopped working. The mechanic bought a new module from Ford and worked late so I wasn't without a car.
