It's National Chocolate Caramel Day, and while I don't indulge in ice cream too often, I couldn't resist treating my daughter and grandson to an ice cream after dinner. Not just any ice cream bar... a double caramel ice cream bar - vanilla bean ice cream dipped in a chocolatey coating, caramel sauce and milk chocolate!
Did you know that Milton Hershey began his career at a caramel company? His first product was a chocolate-covered caramel!
Will you send a couple of these over to the islands? Seeing your photo has me thinking I need to skip dinner and head over to Lappert's for ice cream and a bit of caramel topping. Fun photo :)
I am so glad that when my granddaughter comes to visit next week she's asked if we could make ice cream sundaes to celebrate her birthday instead of cake. We will definitely have to have these ingredients on the table!! This looks delicious!
