A Piece of Victory

Without going into details, I took this photo to symbolize a personal victory of mine today.

A bit of S.S. Lane Victory history... She was built in Los Angeles, CA, in 1945 and served during WWII, The Korean War and The Vietnam War. After years of deterioration, she was restored by volunteers of the U.S. Merchant Marine Vets of WWII. Nationally recognized as a historic landmark, she now serves as a living museum and memorial to the service and sacrifices of all Merchant Marine Sailors and Navy Armed Guardsmen.
