I travel this street quite frequently during my lunch hour, and I am always mindful of the train passing by. Today, I noticed there was a huge pothole right past the stop sign painted on the street. I was careful when crossing it, but just as I made it through, the lights came on and the bar started to drop! Thankfully, there wasn't anyone behind me, so I quickly reversed my car and avoided the bar from causing any damage or injury. I have had close calls before, but didn't have the quick reaction to take a photo afterwards.
@oly Ever since my mother was in an accident involving a train, I've been very cautious when I cross any train tracks.
