I stayed home with the dogs while my husband went to Florida

Another shot from a year ago. I'm already stumped for indoor subjects after only a week. It's frigid here, pipes are all frozen and everything is a sheet of ice.

Every time I see this picture I think of "Swallows and Amazons" This child is one of four, living on their boat in the Marina where we were tied up. Although they are home schooled, it was a school holiday and the boys were out in the dingy exploring the shallows. I wonder if they know how good they have it?
