The beer tents are going up, the portajohns are in place, bandstands being delivered, not one extra trash bin to be seen anywhere. The bars will open early, the parade will be at 1 pm and the drunks will still be staggering up and down the street, urinating in doorways and tossing their empty bottles and cups on the ground at 3 in the morning. One of the few downsides of living in Detroit's coolest neighbourhood.
