Not entirely sure which beetle this is ... maybe cowboy beetle, but maybe a yellow cockchafer (what a name!).
It looked like it was covered in eggs. Or poo. Or tiny ticks. It was hard to tell.
Never heard of a cowboy beetle. And I've absolutely never heard of a cockchafer beetle!! Learn something every day here on 365!!
He looks lovely and shiny, we only get black beetles here.
