For years this angel stood un-noticed by the vast majority of the church, who entered and left by the sturdy oak doors on the south side.
Then they built a large extension, and a link.
Modern glass doors , etched with a scene of St Peter and fishing nets, are the entry point.
Now they all walk past the angel.
But do they see him?
