The Third Wheel

After all the confusion of the date Abi spotted the stack of copies of the latest WK book as soon as we walked into the shop.
She gazed in awe and wonder, before handing over her receipt.
"Name?" asked the assistant
"Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Third Wheel"
"No, your name..."

Never a dull moment in Abi world.

Here she is posing outside with her new book.

Actually we should thank Waterstones. The only reason she is such a fan is because I was offered the original Wimpy Kid book for £1 at the till when I bought another book sometime, and they have given her such joy. She calls the family next door, the Heffleys because their sons are approximately the same age, and they do kind of mirror that family.

We cleared up the confusion over the date - error by the other assistant....or maybe it was the one who served us :D
Ah, that's what happy looks like :)

YES, YES, YES!!!!!! I'm right there with you Rose! My 10 year old son loves the WK books. Just yesterday he came home from school all excited, telling me that there's a new WK book out!!! And that's it in your daughters hands! Lucky her, it's brilliant that she enjoys to read.

@threeplusone :) I hope your son gets a copy and enjoys his copy as much as my daughter is enjoying hers! She particularly liked the first page, which led to an interesting discussion...
Abi is autistic, and the doodle drawings really appeal to her, she really enjoys reading and has many many books.
