Today we got to visit the Festive Gift Fair at the NEC,
which i would highly recommend to anyone who has never been and wants to get a lot of shopping done in one go!
I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with small children, or those who don't enjoy shopping or dislike spending money!
Generally not a place to take husbands, and those were there appear to be carrying 4ft Father Christmases!
I bought mine last year at half the price they were asking and I bought it just before we left to minimise carrying!
I did however succumb to a large light up Christmas Tree - visible in this shot and now lighting up the Knotty Haired teens desk in the hall - yes I KNOW it is only November...
My Christmas budget is rather less than last year, but I did get some lovely presents that I was very happy with.
Paul was singing with the City of Birmingham Choir so he was there on Thursday. I kept texting him to make sure we didn't buy the same presents for the same people!
