A Happy Birthday involves a new instruction manual to read...
For his birthday, my husband has had a new camera. The batteries kept dying in his old one so I persuaded him to invest in a new one.
With the demise of Jessops we had to resport to John Lewis in Solihull.
We pre-ordered, but the half-price memory cards, didn't show as half price.
After the young ladies in the collections had completely demolished the outer box, and had a phone conversation with a colleague, we were sent to Technical Support, who after checking the website, agreed that Memory Cards should be half price and immediately refunded the difference.
Excellent customer service at John Lewis, I wish all shops were as good!
Oooh what camera did he invest in? Happy birthday to your husband.

Does it have a good macro? I'm after a decent camer with a really good macro and am considering one where you can change lenses, or something more like this.

It is a bridge camera, so no extra lenses are required, but I gather you can be clever and add some! I have seen a very detailed shot of the wall paper so far, so the macro seems to be working....
