Time Waits For No Man

As part of my LLM (Reader Training) I am on placement at St Stephen's in Redditch, which is brilliant as I can walk there.

When I go to the 10:30 service, I can walk through the shopping centre, but today I went to my first ever 8:00am Holy Communion, which was BCP, which I probably have only experienced as a child when on holiday with my Grandmother.

Walking up Unicorn Hill, looking at the spire in the sunshine, was beautiful. I glanced across at the clock on the spire, and as it appeared to be a smidgeon before 8:00am I got out my camera and took a shot. Then I passed a man by a bin, eating out of a tray, had he taken it out of a bin, or had he found somewhere open this early? I don't know.
I hurtled into church just as the service began.
This was followed by informal morning worship.

It is a wonderful privilege to go and take part in worship in another church, to see how different things work, and to learn a lot about yourself.

sad image that man eh
good for you reader training good luck
