Community carols, we gathered under the canopy and many of the local schools/organisations took place. The window howled, and the rain tried to seek us out, but the community spirit is strong.

@judithg The estate was the first to be built as part of the Birmingham/Black Country slum clearance in the 60's. If it is outdoor they can 'drift along'. We were dry under the canopy and the library offered a refuge if you needed it. I am always amazed that the parents turn out, not so many of the elderly from the local community, but not surprising given the weather!
