I learned to take pictures from my father. When I was a kid he had a darkroom in the basement and we developed black and white prints, so I always love doing b+w. I usually think about it when looking at something old like the typewriter in my daughter's room ( http://365project.org/dakotakid35/365/2011-02-10 and http://365project.org/dakotakid35/365/2011-02-11 for example), but have been thinking about trying to incorporate it in shots of more modern items as well. When the back of my phone was wiggling around I decided to give it a shot while tightening the screws. I can easily see some things that need improvement, but kinda liked how this came out. The hardest part was holding the phone, the screwdriver and the camera all with only two hands...
