One last Christmas Picture

My last attempt at a shot of Christmas lights. Learned a few things. I have several ideas about what to do better next time...
this is a really cool shot ~ how did you get it to light up (or appear to be lit up) without electricity?

@sitiodown - I cheated. This is a composite of two shots, one of the bulb lit on my Christmas tree and another of a spare bulb. Extracted the lighted part from shot one and the base from shot two. Overlaid them on a black background layer in Photoshop Elements.Among the lessons learned - 1) my quick extraction techniques need work - the edges are clearly fake. 2) Need to work on feathering edged when combining layers. 3) Sometimes it's better to do to real thing - it took me longer to manipulate the shot than it would have taken to go to the garage to get a soldering iron, attach a couple of leads and just light it up with the wires hidden...

Cool shot! I did a double take when I looked at it and said, "How did he do this?!" Thank you for your explanation.
