Spent a half hour this afternoon goofing around with some iPhone apps. Nothing really amazing, but I had fun. Here's the shot I liked best - captured with an app called "Realtime AsciiArt Camera".
@sitiodown - you pretty much called it. Saves at a low resolution, but the price is right (free) and I thought the effect was interesting. Also a fun experiement to see how the brain works. Looks a lot more like me if I'm 5 feet from my computer than if I'm right by the monitor. I assume my brain is ignoring the text "noise" and filling in the information needed to recognize myself
