Before this happened I had made up my mind which picture I was going to publish today. But this afternoon I was in town and saw this gull being rescued by the man in the cherrypicker. It appeared the gull was caught on the anti pigeon wires and two council men working nearby putting up hanging baskets moved their cherrypicker and rescued the gull from it's trap. It wasn't their job but they did it anyway so good for them.
