Camera bag loaded and ready to go for a day of photography. Film SLR, digital SLR, spare batteries, ISO 100 and 400 film plus a spare memory card all ready and waiting for an early start tomorrow.
Taking a film of photos must be so much more exciting, not being able to instantly look at the screen and view. I think that was part of the fun, waiting for the big enveloped to arrive through the post as a youngster. I think developing your own as you do, completes the whole package. It must be so fulfilling. I rarely even see mine in print....In fact you have inspired me, today I am going to go into town and get some printed! I'll let you know how it goes!. Have a good day.
I don't need to wait for the envelope, I develop my own black and white negs, scan them and then print the ones that I want. Unless I take colour prints then I take them to the camera shop in town where they still operate a mini-lab on site. One hour or 24 hour service.
