D-Day Plus 5

After yesterday's rain I thought I would take advantage of a sunny afternoon and walk along the beach, and as it is the 75th Anniversary of the Normandy landings I thought a picture of the rapidly deteriorating piece of Mulberry Harbour was appropriate.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond It's on the beach at Aldwick near Bognor Regis. It's only visible at low tide and over the 20 odd years I've lived here it has deteriorated very rapidly from almot complete to how it is now. A few years ago Arun District Council propsed removing it from the beach as it was a danger to the public. The public soon let ADC know what they thought of that idea.
