Egrets

There are six egrets in this picture, I originally counted 4, then 5 but finally saw 6.

Our Wildlife of the British Isles book is sooooo old, it says egrets are occasional visitors. We have them living in trees now at Langstone!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I can remember seeing one in Pagham Harbour nearly 20 years ago and wondering if I’d see another and now they’re common anywhere there’s water. I still haven’t seen a Cattle Egret yet although they are resident at the Arundel Wetlands Centre.

One was seen at farlington marshes!!
