Years ago, while visiting family friends in Texas, I was privileged to spend time with Manny Costelluzo in his kitchen learning how to make his homemade pasta sauce and meatballs. This recipe passed down from generations in his family, is slowly simmered for 6+ hours. The homemade meatballs are also simmered for hours. For special ocassions, this is worth the wait!
