I think your self-portrait is wonderful.
I try to avoid selfies myself since I am far more comfortable behind a camera than in front of them!
I am delighted to be your get pushed partner this week. I found your project to have wonderful variety when I took a quick look at it.
However, I found that you are a 'recording' type photographer, reacting to your surroundings. So, I challenge you to be pro-active and build a still life with at least five objects set up a table near a window with the light falling sideways onto the scene. Take your photograph by natural light with as wide open an aperture as you can manage.
Here are a few links I pulled from the internet that you may find useful.
Oh - you may want to correct your get pushed tag for this self portrait shot. You have a space behind the get- and so it is not connected to the rest of the tag.
