So pretty love the colour, I’m dabbling with oil pastels but don’t find them as easy to control as a pen or pencil. How do you find them?
The water soluble crayons I used on yesterdays sketch are not like inktense pencils being watercolour, I use them scribbled on a palate and mixed with water. They are great fun and very economical in use that way, you can also use them like a crayon and take water to them. They are well worth the cost as like inktense you can buy open stock so you don’t need to spend a lot to try them. If you try them make sure they are the water soluble ones as they also do the soft wax crayons too. Hope this helps Margaret
@craftymeg Thanks Margaret.Can't say I enjoed working with these Oil pastels.The initial 'mess 'was improved after a layer of white spirit which seems to bring them to life and get a bit more saturation
