On the old main road in Bingley where I work on Weds, it's a lovely old pub but looks like it's been done up, hope they don't rip it apart too much, didn't notice the chap on the roof until I got it up on the computer
Now here's a good shot of a building with character, even have a cobbled road. The blue plaque says, "The Old White Horse Late 18C. Coaching Inn" - Wonder what this picture would look like in black & white, might be a nice period touch?
