@SquamLoon gave me the challenge of taking a photograph best in b&w and I enjoyed this, did play around with this altering brightness and contrast and desaturating in Gimp. I liked the whiteness of the tree and the depths of the shadows in this, I also like the slight sway in the branches, it was quite a windy day, but bright and sunny.
@SquamLoon I did enjoy this as I love b&w photography, I think there are some good contrasts in this one, and I did play around with it a little in Gimp editor. I particularly liked the whiteness of the tree trunk.
I like how the tree looks like it´s about to fall, Very strange looking shadow for a tree or is it just the added contrast that creates those black shadows
@tristansmum Thank you so much, it was the shadows and the white bark of the tree that drew my attention. @crewnelson@susale The tree was leaning in the wind, and the strange shadows are of the station buildings behind me, this is a picnic garden for the steam railway situated next to the mainline station. @squamloon Thank you so much for your kind comments and your fav, and thanks for the encouragement on my first get pushed challenge.
